I'm mesmerized by these works from Susanna Bauer. This goes so far beyond pressing flowers into a book and knowing the delicate quality of dead leaves I truly admire the detail of her pieces. Some remind me of the crochet snowflakes my grandmother made and we still hang on our family tree every year. These are much more autumnal than those white, starched forms and I'm fascinated by the fragile works.
