Seems fitting following my own brief vacation where I was the ultimate tourist with camera nearly glued to my hand to share these pictures of sightseers by Roger Minick. During the 1980s Roger Minick decided to document vacationing families at popular tourist stops throughout the United States and the result is this quirky color series. I'm a big fan of the families with matching shirts...which does remind me of one family holiday to Florida when I was a kid. Between the square crop and oversaturated colors the photos feel like Instagrams of yester-year; a fun time capsule into the recent past.
