When I first got this little slip dress back in the summer of 2011 I wore it once before it got relegated to the back of my closet. As much as I liked it, the silhouette isn't my typical and so I wasn't super comfortable wearing it. However, a couple of seasons passed and I started to realize what a wonderful layering piece it made. In winter it looked sweet under sweaters and coats and it worked nicely as a blouse layered beneath skirts. Definitely a piece I'm glad I hung on to and kept playing around with; sometimes it takes a little bit of time to figure out how a piece works for you and your style.
