Une Journee a Paris

 This editorial featuring Miao Bin Si for Harper's Bazaar China has to be one of my favorite editorials in a long time. Echoing the timeless poise of Richard Avedon's photographs? Yes. Perhaps it's a mistake to call something timeless that clearly evokes a specific era, but while a lady walking down the street dressed as this lady would clearly make someone look as if they stepped out of the past, they wouldn't look bad. That's where the idea of timelessness comes to me; not looking as if you don't belong outside of time, but having a quality that defies current trends and ages well.
